A weekend long, fun-packed Enduro Tour across Sardinia’s mountains with routes suitable for all riders. 3 days in the mountains, forests and rivers of “Barbagia” in the territory of Orgosolo, Villagrande, Urzulei, Talana, Oliena, Fonni
Tour itinerary
Day 1, Enduro route Orgosolo-Ogliastra
On Friday, we will go on the “Barbagia to Ogliastra” route, a circular route over 100km long from Orgosolo to Villanova Strisali (in the Ogliastra province) and Talana.
During this amazing route, 99% of roads are dirt roads, and you will face different kinds of terrain, technical trails and you will be able to go to various view points on the highest peaks of Barbagia.
Day 2, at the foot of the Supramonte of Orgosolo
On day 2 we will stay in the territory of Orgosolo and go on the “at the foot of the Supramonte” route: a 100km circular route that starts and ends in Orgosolo, 100% on dirt roads.
We will leave first thing in the morning for the “Fundales” area of the Supramonte, and we will go on a few beautiful, “quick and guided” trails and some single tracks. We will then ride up the peak of Punta Solittha where you will be able to admire a spectacular view of the whole of the Barbagia. On the way back, you will have the chance to face a few firebreaks and some short mule tracks. A day that would please any Enduro rider.
Day 3, Enduro route to the Gennargentu mountains
On day 3 of the tour we will go on the “to the Gennargentu mountain” route, a beautiful and spectacular route with an average elevation of 1000mt above sea level. Just like the first two days, the route is circular starting and ending in Orgosolo, and is 100% on dirt roads.
We will depart from Orgosolo and ride up to the “Pradu” area at 1000mt, to then ride on a 10km technical trail that will take us from the “Pihisone” area to Monte Armario, the highest peak in the territory of Orgosolo, the main point of this route. We will then head back following new and different trails, taking a break at the “Funtana Bona”, where fresh water is always flowing. On our way back to Orgosolo, we will face challenging fords and trails (due to the flow of water) and we will have the chance to see many breathtaking views.
The tour will be based on the famous tourist village of Orgosolo, 20 km from Nuoro. The nearest port is in Olbia about 115 km (1 hour and 10 by car) while the one in Golfo Aranci is about 130 km.
The nearest airport is Olbia (110km), then Alghero and Cagliari. Orgosolo can still be reached in a maximum of two hours from all Sardinian ports and airports.
On this tour, every evening back to Orgosolo to the same accommodation.
Tour Price € 400,00 per rider
The price includes:
- 3 days riding with expert local guide (2 guides for groups of over 7 people)
- 2 nights accommodation (in double room) in a beautiful farmhouse surrounded by nature
- 2 dinners based on typical Sardinian dishes
- 2 breakfasts
- Motorcycle recovery with pick-up in case of damage;
- Welcom Kit and Welcome Gadget;
The price does not include:
- Lunches
- Motorcycle fuel
- Enduro Bike Rental;
- Extra alcoholic beverages and everything not served at the table during dinner
- Single room (€ 25.00 per night supplement)
- All that is not reported in the item "the price includes"
The price is valid for a minimum group of 5 riders. If the number of riders is less than 5, the price increases a little.
Reservations could be confirmed within 60 days of the tour start date.
Services not included can be added to your tour, paying the additional cost.
If the tour formula proposed by us does not meet your needs or you want to make changes to the program, request a personalized tour, it has no additional costs.

Necessary equipment
Motorbikes used on the tour must be one-cylinder Enduro motorbikes with knobby tyres. You can rent an Enduro motorbike in Sardinia. .
To be prepared for the tour, each driver should have the following equipment:
- A tyre mousse, or a heavy duty inner tube and all the necessary repair equipment;
- A rucksack or belt bag and a bottle of water;
- Equipment for simple repairs, spare levers, cable ties, pliers and screwdrivers;
Accommodation and meals
In addition to an Enduro guide we can also take care of your accommodation and meals, creating an “All-inclusive” tour.
We can book an affiliated hotel or Bed and Breakfast that is convenient and best suits your needs.
Half way though the route you will have lunch with our guide, and after lunch you will resume the route. You can bring along a packed lunch or our guide can recommend some nearby restaurants.
You can eat dinner in your hotel or bed and breakfast, or in nearby pizzerias, restaurants, “Agriturismi”.
