Tour itinerary

Day 1, Enduro route Orgosolo-Ogliastra

On Friday, we will go on the “Barbagia to Ogliastra” route, a circular route over 100km long from Orgosolo to Villanova Strisali (in the Ogliastra province) and Talana.

During this amazing route, 99% of roads are dirt roads, and you will face different kinds of terrain, technical trails and you will be able to go to various view points on the highest peaks of Barbagia.

Day 2: Hidden Trails of Barbagia

This unforgettable day includes a selection of the best trails and technical passages that can be found in the Orgosolo area, most of which can’t be found on any map or track, as they are known only by true experts of the area.

Mule tracks and cart roads used by coalmen over a century ago. After lunch, we will ride along the dry (nearly dry) river bed, until we reach a spectacular waterfall.

Day 3, Enduro route to the Gennargentu mountains

On day 3 of the tour we will go on the “to the Gennargentu mountain” route, a beautiful and spectacular route with an average elevation of 1000mt above sea level. Just like the first two days, the route is circular starting and ending in Orgosolo, and is 100% on dirt roads.

Logistics Info:

The tour will be based on the famous tourist village of Orgosolo, 20 km from Nuoro. The nearest port is in Olbia about 115 km (1 hour and 10 by car) while the one in Golfo Aranci is about 130 km.

The nearest airport is Olbia (110km), then Alghero and Cagliari. Orgosolo can still be reached in a maximum of two hours from all Sardinian ports and airports.

On this tour, every evening back to Orgosolo to the same accommodation.

Tour Price € 400,00 per rider

The price includes:

3 days riding with expert local guide (2 guides for groups of over 7 people)
2 nights accommodation (in double room) in a beautiful farmhouse surrounded by nature
2 dinners based on typical Sardinian dishes
2 breakfasts
Motorcycle recovery with pick-up in case of damage;

The price does not include:

Lunches
Motorcycle fuel
Extra alcoholic beverages and everything not served at the table during dinner
Single room (€ 25.00 per night supplement)

The price is valid for a minimum group of 5 riders. If the number of riders is less than 5, the price increases a little.

Reservations could be confirmed within 60 days of the tour start date.

Services not included can be added to your tour, paying the additional cost.

If the tour formula proposed by us does not meet your needs or you want to make changes to the program, request a personalized tour, it has no additional costs.

Necessary equipment

This tour is suitable for "light" single-cylinder enduro motorcycles.
Riders must bring their own motorcycles and equipment; we do not offer motorcycle rentals.

To be prepared for the tour, each rider should have the following equipment:

Bike equipped with mousse at front and rear;
Equipment for simple repairs, spare levers, cable ties, pliers and screwdrivers;

Accommodation and meals

Accomodation during Enduro Tours in Sardinia

In addition to an Enduro guide we can also take care of your accommodation and meals, creating an “All-inclusive” tour.

We can book an affiliated hotel or Bed and Breakfast that is convenient and best suits your needs.

Half way though the route you will have lunch with our guide, and after lunch you will resume the route. You can bring along a packed lunch or our guide can recommend some nearby restaurants.

You can eat dinner in your hotel or bed and breakfast, or in nearby pizzerias, restaurants, “Agriturismi”.
